Congratulations to the North African Otter House for winning Sports Day. Well done to all the children in all the houses who demonstrated fantastic sporting ability and also sportsmanship in cheering on and supporting their peers. Thank you to all the families who came to watch and made this such a lovely day.
“On Thursday, 11th July, 10 Year 3/4 girls were chosen to go to a girls' FA football funday. Some of the activities were: a football shooting inflatable, freestyle skills workshop, face painting and hair braiding and even learning referee skills. The best thing was there was a dance- off between some mascots, Berry Bear & Olivia the Ox” Maisie
“It was an incredible day and a great experience” Gracie
On Tuesday Year 1 visited Beale Park to learn about the animals.
“I enjoyed seeing the animals - I loved the meerkats because it is one of my favourite animals” Otto

“ I enjoyed the train. We saw reindeer and wallabies”. Jamie
“I liked the old toys. I liked finding the Teletubbies”. Tilly
Thank you to the adults who helped make the day possible.
“On Friday a group of children went to Matthew Arnold for a primary sports afternoon. There were throwing and racing events. The furthest girls throw (Year 3 & 4) was thrown by Maisie.” Maisie
“I liked that I was nice and fit by the end” Alice
“Cheering on the racers and watching everyone trying their best”. Noah
“It was really fun, we came first in the relay and second overall”. William
“We went to the River and Rowing Museum and we made boats with junk. We also made a boat with tin foil and we put coins in it to see if it could float. Some of them did! We had to compare different parts of boats from a picture. We looked round the museum and we got to try some equipment that they used there to help people row. We had a great day and would like to go again.” Rocky
“On 24th June 2017, we had the pleasure of dancing at the Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton. We would like to thank Mrs Bowers, Mrs Danby, Step by Step Dance Schools and finally Mrs Colucci. We are very proud of what we achieved.” Megan
“I liked how every team got the same dances so it was fair”. Ruby
“It’s always fun to represent the school but especially fun when you’re doing it with a partner.” Anna
“On Friday 23rd June the whole school took part in Enterprise Week. We made a profit from the £20 given to us. It was so much fun! Everyone did different activities with their buddies.” Connie and Isabella
“Year 4 and 1 buddies raised money for the NSPCC. We did activities such as selling books and toys. We also did reading in tents and colouring keyrings and snakes. We really enjoyed it and would like to do it again”. Connie, Dougie, Issy and Raffy
